High-performance additive for Planipatch
Planipatch Plus is an acrylic latex additive for use with Planipatch. When Planipatch is mixed with Planipatch Plus, the Planipatch Plus System can be used as an embossing leveler or as a patch to fill voids over properly prepared vinyl sheet goods, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and cement terrazzo before the direct glue-down installation of floor coverings.

Do I have to mix Planipatch® with Planipatch Plus over existing flooring?
MAPEI's Planipatch must be mixed with Planipatch Plus additive when patching or skimcoating over existing flooring such as ceramic tile, sheet vinyl or VCT.
Do I have to mix Planipatch® with Planipatch Plus over adhesive residue?
MAPEI's Planipatch must be mixed with Planipatch Plus additive when patching or skimcoating over flooring adhesive residue, such as carpet adhesive residue and cutback adhesive residue.
How much water do I add to dilute Planipatch Plus liquid?
When diluting MAPEI's Planipatch Plus liquid with water, mix 3 parts water to 1 part Planipatch Plus liquid. In other words, add 3 cups of cool water to every 1 cup of Planipatch Plus liquid.
How much Planipatch Plus do I mix with Planipatch®?
When mixing MAPEI's Planipatch powder with Planipatch Plus (full-strength or diluted), mix 1 part Planipatch Plus to 2-1/2 parts of Planipatch powder. In other words, add 1 cup of Planipatch Plus to every 2-1/2 cups of Planipatch powder. Mix only a small amount at a time.
How much time do I have once I mix Planipatch®?
Once mixed with water or MAPEI's Planipatch Plus liquid, MAPEI's Planipatch has a pot life of approximately 8 to 10 minutes based on 73°F. Warmer temperatures or warm water will shorten the pot life.
What should I use to apply Planipatch®?
MAPEI's Planipatch can be applied using the flat side of any standard notched trowel. A flat trowel with rounded edges, such as a pool trowel or venetian plaster trowel, works best.
