Fast-Setting, Polymer-Modified, Cement-Based Patching Compound

Planipatch is an ultra fast-drying, self-curing, polymer-modified, cement-based patching compound that rapidly develops high compressive strength. When Planipatch is mixed with Planipatch Plus, the Planipatch Plus System can be used as an embossing leveler or as a patch to fill voids over properly prepared vinyl sheet goods, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and cement terrazzo before the direct glue-down installation of floor coverings.

Do I have to mix Planipatch® with Planipatch Plus® over existing flooring?

MAPEI's Planipatch must be mixed with Planipatch Plus additive when patching or skimcoating over existing flooring, such as ceramic tile, sheet vinyl and VCT.

MAPEI's Planipatch must be mixed with Planipatch Plus additive when patching or skimcoating over flooring adhesive residue, such as carpet-adhesive residue and cutback-adhesive residue.

How much Planipatch Plus® do I mix with Planipatch®?

When mixing MAPEI's Planipatch powder with Planipatch Plus (full strength or diluted), mix 1 part Planipatch Plus to 2-1/2 parts of Planipatch powder. In other words, add 1 U.S. cup (237 mL) of Planipatch Plus to every 2-1/2 U.S. cups (591 mL) of Planipatch powder. Mix only a small amount at a time.
