FAQs

FAQ
Why do I need to use caulk instead of grout in certain joints?

Joint spaces between the floor and the wall, between the countertop and the wall, between the tub and the wall, and in the shower corners are all considered to be movement joints. So, it is important to use something flexible in these areas, such as MAPEI's Keracaulk U, to permit natural movement. If standard grout is used in these joints, it will eventually crack.
