Tiling a fireplace can be a simple way to update the look of your living area. Because fireplaces are occasionally used as heat sources, special materials are needed for long-lasting installations.
Porcelain tile, ceramic tile or porcelain/ceramic mosaic can be installed by using MAPEI’s Keraflex Plus, MAPEI’s Ultraflex LFT or MAPEI’s Ultraflex LFT Rapid.
Glass tile and mixed-material mosaics can be installed by using a two-part mortar, such as MAPEI’s Adesilex P10 Mosaic & Glass Tile mixed with MAPEI’s Keraply.
Natural stone tile up to 15″ in length and width can be installed by using a two-part mortar, such as MAPEI’s Adesilex P10 Mosaic & Glass Tile mixed with MAPEI’s Keraply, or by using MAPEI’s Ultraflex LFT.
